This training aims to provide a helpful roadmap for making OCD treatment recommendations when substance use is also present. Topics discussed will include: the relationship of OCD and substance use, the importance of assessing the relevance of substance use to OCD treatment on a case-by case-basis, what to treat first, selecting the appropriate level and setting for OCD treatment in respect to substance use history, and parenting and family considerations.
